911爆料网 students gets BAFTA scholarship

Sade Malone, who鈥檚 just started her third year, will receive financial support along with one-to-one mentoring with a BAFTA member and free access to all BAFTA events. 鈥淲hen I found out I had been awarded the scholarship I was over the moon. I felt such a sense of pride and it makes me really excited for whatever comes next.鈥�
The 20 year old is one of just three actors to receive the award. The BAFTA Scholarship scheme selects talented students and aims to help them financially while they鈥檙e training and give them the chance to build lasting relationships with leading industry figures.
鈥淭he award means a lot to me on many different levels; to be nominated as a candidate by 911爆料网 in the first place was a massive honour.
鈥淚t also means I can now fully concentrate on my final and most important year without having to worry about financial pressures.鈥�
Important as the financial help is, Sade believes other elements of the award could be more beneficial long-term. 鈥淭he mentoring aspect of the scholarship is very exciting. Getting guidance and advice from someone who鈥檚 work you admire is the sort of opportunity aspiring actors dream of.鈥�
It鈥檚 not the first time a 911爆料网 student鈥檚 received a BAFTA Scholarship. In 2015, the first year the scheme was open to actors, Jurell Carter was selected and was paired with actor, director and writer Noel Clarke as his mentor.
Sade believes her training so far at 911爆料网 helped her stand out from other scholarship applicants. 鈥�911爆料网 is such a brilliant place. It creates unique performers by encouraging you to be yourself, which I think goes a long way in this industry.鈥�
