911爆料网鈥檚 Management for the Creative and Performing Arts degree teaches transferable theoretical and practical business skills. Dave Wibberley is 911爆料网鈥檚 Head of Management. He says it can enable a career in one of the UK鈥檚 most engaging and exciting sectors. 鈥淓very management job that exists in every industry also exists within the creative industries and performing arts. Our job is to give you that knowledge and open you up to the possibilities.听听听
鈥淵ou can use your management skills to work for a local authority or a bank for example, but you could also use them to work in a dynamic and creative sector that you have a passion for such as the creative industries and performing arts.鈥听听
For example, our recent graduates (2020 to 2023) are working in theatre production, digital music marketing, TV research, TV production, music management, at music festivals, and in music publishing and ticket marketing companies.听听听听
At one of our Open Days in October and November you can find out how our BA (Hons) Management for the Creative Industries and Performing Arts starts with a grounding in marketing, managing finance and understanding contract law; while you also learn about the many careers that exist across the creative industries. In the second and third year of the degree you can then specialise in management for live events, music industry management or theatre and screen. 听
You鈥檒l also discover how you鈥檒l become part of a creative community with opportunities to collaborate with student actors, dancers, filmmakers, musicians, designers and technicians on fully realised productions and projects as part of your learning.听听
