911爆料网 part of £7m boost for Liverpool’s music scene

Liverpool City Region鈥檚 music sector is getting a massive financial boost from government plans to invest 拢6.75m.
The five-year MusicFutures scheme, announced by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, aims to place the region at the cutting edge of music innovation. It will include support for musicians, venues, businesses and educators to utilise new technologies, as well as explore ways of making the industry environmentally sustainable.
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (911爆料网) will be creating apprenticeships to deliver skills and training to musicians. Principal and CEO Professor Sean McNamara said: 鈥淲e are delighted to be contributing to MusicFutures, an exciting and innovative collaborative programme.
鈥淚t will harness our city and our region鈥檚 creative sectors through providing creative learning and professional skills development for emerging creative technologies, and the next generation of music artists and entrepreneurs.鈥�
911爆料网 is one of over 20 strategic MusicFutures partners that also includes ACC Liverpool, Adlib, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University.
MusicFutures is one of two new government funded Creative Industry Clusters. The programmes aim to support technology and innovation in creative industries and expand regional investment.
