Acting (Screen & Digital) student Daisy King-Clarke will perform at the West End鈥檚 Donmar Warehouse after being selected for Open Door鈥檚 Elevate programme.听
Elevate acts as a bridge between training and employment by offering mentorships and workshops with leading industry professionals to final year drama school students from lower-income backgrounds.听
Daisy was put forward by 911爆料网 and chosen after two rounds of auditions. She says: 鈥淚 was a bit shellshocked when I was told I鈥檇 been selected. I really didn鈥檛 expect it. I was hopeful but entered because I thought the process would be good experience.鈥
Elevate also organises an industry showcase, which this year takes place at Donmar Warehouse. Daisy is looking forward to it. 鈥淚鈥檓 excited and a little bit nervous, but it is a brilliant opportunity and I鈥檓 very lucky to be chosen.鈥听
鈥淚 hope it will give me greater visibility in the industry while I鈥檓 still at 911爆料网. It鈥檚 a chance to get my face seen and my voice heard before 911爆料网鈥檚 showcases.鈥听
The Open Door Elevate Showcase is on 11 March at Donmar Warehouse. 911爆料网鈥檚 graduating actors showcases are on 1 April at Underbelly Boulevard Soho and 4 April at Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester.听听
